I am looking for a portable batting screen that can be carried on an airplane for traveling games. We have a screen, but it weighs about 80 pounds. If anyone knows where we can buy a light screen that can be packaged for traveling, please call me at 503-697-0865. If I am not at home, please leave a number and name, and I will return your call quickly. Tim

One made in Fla I think called Pitch Back. I have one I used twice, very good and only weighs about 25 lbs or so, Cost about 299 plus the shipping & maybe taxes.
Easily put up in about 3-4 minutes.

There is a 25 second video showing them setting it up on their website. I have been using one for a year now and can't endorse it highly enough. Its so portable and cleverly designed for quick setup. A really clever idea and a quality product. some fo the other screens are such a hassle you find yourself going with out one...and occasionally getting a good lump on the leg.

What say you and I trade locations for the next month. 2 feet of snow here and -5 degrees last night. Can you say Cabin Fever? Only bowling and ice fishing available here for entertainment!

I'd like to know more about this product. Live in the snow country. Can't get on the fields until mid May. Could use a simple and lightweight tool.
Thanks,

what's up ed,pretty cold there, real nice here in texas :):).the screen we had on the senior field(at CST) was mine.it takes a touch over 5 minutes to set up.yeah i know that is quite a bit longer than a pitch-safe screen, but mine only cost me $80.the screen is 7-h X 6-w.

Bog, you animal.
2 feet of snow and we hit for 3 hours
right by the ocean, blue sky and about 65 degrees.
Don't worry though.
As the ocean continues to rise
you guys will be the next left coast
in no time.
Beach front property coming your way!!!
Got your call the other night.
Hope all is well with you and
Can't wait to see the video.

Tim, I have made two portable pitching screens made out of pvc pipe and we have been using it this spring. They can be made to to fit in a check in bag. I have thought about making extras and selling them at tournaments. I know there are some good ones out there, but I didn't want to pay that much money. I could probably make it for a sales price of $150.00 to $160.00 plus shipping. E-mail me if interested or if you have questions. sanpal@charter.net

I'm looking for some kind of screen setup I can hit into in my yard. Have a hitting tee I made but need to trap the balls. Any ideas?

Just got our Pitch Safe Screen yesterday. The funny part is the video they show. Sets up in 25 seconds and they show a young lady walking off with it. This thing is actually pretty heavy! One strong broad! Anyway go to Dicks and see if they have a golf screen. Seen one a couple years ago and it set up huge. Then folded down to 3-4 feet. LOL
