Acai Berry
This is the most powerful anti-oxidant on the market. There are many rip-off company's selling this stuff. If you are interested in living healthier, playing longer, and feeling younger contact me at k22as@hotmail.com.
I have been taking this for 3 weeks and can't believe the results I am getting. This is for real and you will notice the results in 2 weeks if you buy the right stuff.

Kevin, As you are well aware, I had stopped playing and was just managing last year because of the pain involved in playing. I started taking Acai Juice in August and am now healthier than I've bee in a long time. I was scheduled for 3 surgeries this winter and I'm ecstatic to say that I am not having any surgery. My doctor was amazed at how my back is healing and it was the surgery I really dreaded. I was also going to have a knee replacemnt but the pain and swelling has reduced to the point I can play with very little pain. I am no longer anemic and I was borderline diabetic. My doctor was amazed at how the blood work improved.
I went from retired to playing to a new level and its all because of Acai Juice. At the SPA nationals in Dalton GA I won the HR contest with a perfect 8 for 8, I won the hitting accuracy contest with 100% and then threw in a first in the pitching contest as well. Three months earlier the pain was so bad that I felt batting practice was doing more harm than good. I no longer need reading glasses as my eyesight has improved.
I can hear it now, no way can this be true. How can one ounce in the morning and one ounce at night of a juice make that kind of difference.
The Acai Berry is the worlds most perfect food and is being hyped by a number of celeb's and companies. Oprah and Racel Ray have their own brands. Major compnies have advertised it as a weight loss product and as a flush out your colon crud. This stuff works because it flushes out "free radicals" in our bodies. There is a wealth of information on free radicals on the internet if you google. Free radicals are why we age, is directly involved in creating Cancer and is the cause for most maladies we face. Free radicals are produced with all chemical reactions. In our bodies, free radicals are produced by exercise, poisons we eat, X yays, smog, and great quantities occur when swelling happens or when we have a heart attack. Free radicals are unstable molecules that we cannot get rid of and which float in our body trying to steal electrons from healthy molecules. Anti oxidents combine with free radicals and it allows our bodies to flush the bad molecules out of our body.
Any naysayer needs to google "free radical" "ORAC" (This stands for oxygen radical absorbsion capability), " Acai" or Brunswick Labs. Brunswick labs is a company that holds the patent to the testing of ORAC and is an independant company that does not sell any product. If you google any of these words you will find a wealth of information and you will come to the conclusion that its for real.
Kevin and others are taking the product that we searched out as the absolute best "Acai" on the market.
Who else out there is taking it?

I think Jim covered it, I will say that I am very skeptical on all accounts, I don't buy into hype products and took this for 2 weeks before I really felt the benefits of this product. All I can say is I have lost weight and didn't change my eating habits. ( I like to eat) My energy level is through the roof but not edgy. My face is not a puffy in the morning and my wife tells me I am not snoring like I used to when I sleep. I go to bed later and get up earlier but feel much less tired than before. All of this in 3 weeks. Take it for what it is worth read about it yourself on the internet. What myself, Jim, And Mike Macenko are currently taking is the best you can buy. There are tons of this in the market place, but none of it is as good. If you can find better I will switch.

Trumpball antioxidants and free radicals don't combine to flush our systems. Antioxidants have spare electrons that counteract free radicals that are missing an electron in orbit. This is the only way to stabilize the cell , thus allowing our systems to absorb whatever minerals we take into our systems. Absorption is the key to everything. The more minerals absorbed into our system the better. There is a multi-vitamin in the industry that is the best out there and has scientific proof to back it up. 85% absorption and they also make the claims that all other vitamin-mineral supplements give you , on the high end, maybe 8%. That means any gluconates, sulfates. Chelates give you a little better absortion, but not muck. I've also tried the Acai berry ,it is ok, but there are a lot of them out there. You are one of the ones that it is working real well for, others not so well and they all have good testimonials. I'm a health freak and have as much energy as anyone I know. I love to eat though, so that keeps my weight a little higher than I would like, however, at 59 I run real well play the outfield and am used all the time as a runner for most of the guys on the team. I can be reached at 917-922-6853 if anyone is interested in talking about the multi-vitamin mineral supplement. They also have them specifically formulated for 50's men and women.

Gentlemen. MonaVie. Been taking for 9 months and have noticed some pretty positive benefits. I take a 1 to 2 ounce shot first thing every morning. The Acai (ah sy ee) berry is classified and one of nature's superfoods with antioxidant and polynutrient benefits. We buy the "Active" blend which contains glucosamine. Cost could be an issue to many since the company / business model is one of a multi-level marketing type. In order to buy direct, you must "sign-up" or "enroll" to become a distributor under an existing distributor, otherwise you will have to buy from one of these folks and pay retail, which can be as much as $40 per bottle. FYI, a bottle lasts me about 2 weeks. Even as a distributor, my wife still pays about $28 per bottle, and that's buying 3 cases (12 bottles total). So, the decision to be made is whether the positive health benefits are worth the cash outlay. Check out the company website - www.monavie.com

Hey guys. The bottom line is if you can't get your antioxidants absorbed into your system, then they're useless. If all your antioxidants are constantly negating free radicals, then not too much is getting absorbed. The small intestine is where absorption begins. Because of the high Ph level in the small intestine the supplements most people take have minerals and antioxidants, however, the small intestine has a Ph level of 7 thus causing the minerals you're taking to be assimilated and turned into free radicals and then requiring the antioxidants in that same supplement to have to negate those free radicals, thus leaving very small amounts of your antioxidants to be absorbed. So if you're lucky, 2-to-8% of your supplement is getting into your system to work. That is why you need to get on a Multi-vitamin mineral complex put out by Melaleuca that has a proven process scientifically to give you 85% absortion at the same time tnhey're making scientific claims that all the Major supplement companies and brands do not work very good, and they can prove it.

The acai berry is a grape-like fruit harvested from acai palms in the rainforests of South America. Acai berries are a good source of antioxidants, fiber and heart-healthy fats. Some manufacturers claim that products made from acai berries can help you lose weight, lower cholesterol and gain energy. Research on acai berries is limited, however, and these claims have not been proved. Still, fruit is an important part of a healthy diet. If you'd like to try acai berry products, check local health food or gourmet stores for acai berry juice or other acai berry products. Fresh acai berries spoil too quickly to be distributed widely

The juice that Jim and Kevin are talking about is a very good product. I myself have been drinking it since September. It has helped me lower my bood pressure and makes me feel better than I have in the last 10 years. I feel like I have more energy during my workouts and that has helped me lose considerable weight. I recomment that you try it. Your softball friend ,

Frank, I can't answer your question with a difinitive answer but I can tell you what happened to me. I have a physical with blood work every six months. Last year and this spring I had 3 blood readings that were of concern. I had borderline hypertension, slight diabetes and anemia. Last month after being on this product for a couple of months I had none of the above. My doctor asked me what I was doing differently. I told him and he had never heard of Acai but he said whatever I was doing to keep on doing. I understood the blood pressure and diabetic issue but was surprised about the anemia. Acai doesnt have iron and maybe it wasnt the reason for the improvement in the anemia.
My real surprise was was when we did the MRI on my back.
The previous MRI of 4 years ago was pretty bad and I expected it would be worse. There has been substantial healing to the point that the back surgeon absolutely said no surgery and start on a mild exercise program. Yeah, right. I'm on an extensive batting practice regimen off a batting tee and am doing it WITHOUT my back brace.

I have read all of the posts for the last several days regarding the Acai Berry. There are many comments that are correct and there some that are not exactly correct.
The product of most of the discussion herein is Acai Juice.
I have known the manufacturing laboartory for this product and the owner personally for 17 years. This is a large world reknown facility in the D-FW mertroplex. Antioxidents counter act free radicals. Our bodies are bombarded through atmospheric conditions and dietary conditions. This causes the bodies natural defenses to aging and disease to subside the older we get. Increased antioxident intake enhances the bodies ability to fight these free radicals. There have been several products mentioned, both tablet and liquid. The litmus test for any antioxident is the ORAC scoring. Mona Vie has been mentioned. It is a good product. Its ORAC score is 1300 per ounce. Brunswick Laboratories owns a patent for determining ORAC scores for varied products comsumed. They do this ORAC scoring for the USDA. The laboratory that manufactures Acai Juice sent this product to Brunswick to obtain a certified and tested ORAC score. The reputation of the laboratoy is such that Brunswick's seal is allowd to be displayed on the Acai Juice bottles. No other product can make this calim. Acai Juice ORAC SCOR is 3023 per ounce. This means you would have to take 2/1/2 bottles of Mona Vie to equal one bottle of Acai Juice. . Studies that track daily input of all kinds of minumum daily requirements for various products state that the astute person trying to impact their body with increased antioxident intake are averaging about 1000 unit per day. They state further that a good target daily would be 5000 units. Acai Juice taken as directed gives one 6046 units per day. Apply the economics of cost per ounce to get 6000 unit per day. I have been taking this product since the test samples were run. I have seen an incresased ability to multi-task again. I feel like one benefit is a more restful night. I do not sleep longer, it just seems like a more sound sleep. Blood pressure and Cholesterol down in 90 days. More energy and just a sence of weel being.
By the way, the actual harvesting of the fruit of the berry requires it to be frozen immediately to hold more goodness. Touted as the world's #1 Superfood, this berry/fruit discoved commercially only 5 1/2 years ago, today requires 30,000 workers daily to harvest product to meet the demand.

Two years ago, my sciatica was extremely painful, so painful that not only did it interfere with my sleeping and standing, but I could not run in softball (now THAT’S serious), and could not even pitch (now that’s REALLY serious). For the first time in my 55 years of softball, I had to miss a game (yes, I have played with the flu, sciatica, chicken pox, etc.).

I was at a tournament I had withdrawn from, hobbling around and being queried as to what could possibly stop me from playing. I explained my sciatica (caused by compressed disc in back due to aging, not injury), and that I was so crippled that I could not contribute to any team.

One listener told me about his massage therapist. His testimonial was inspirational, about how he had risen from being bedridden to returning to playing softball, and how he regularly got massages to keep him fit. He gave me the business card of his message therapist.

A second friend had also battled sciatica and he had found a cure! He knew of an acupuncturist who quickly reduced the pain, then over time restored his leg to full mobility. He now goes for a treatment a couple of times a month to keep limber. He gave me the name and city of the acupuncturist and told me to mention his name when making an appointment.

A third friend came over to talk and commiserate with me. When he heard of my troubles, he told me that two members of his team had the same ailment until they went to his chiropractor. After a few adjustments, his friends returned to playing regularly. He hadn’t struggled with sciatica himself, but he had other severe physical ailments, all of them alleviated by chiropractic...unless he missed a weekly adjustment or two and then the difficulties returned. He wrote down his chiropractor’s name and phone number.

Three remedies. All enthusiastically vouched for. All expensive, but not prohibitively so. I pondered about trying any of the three. A week later, my sciatica left...without any treatment! My body had cured itself. After losing some weight the following year, I have had no other problems and have missed no more games, usually running for other guys my age.

Am I glad that I didn’t try any of the remedies. Otherwise I would be on this forum touting the wonderful properties of MY health solution. But keep on believing, guys. Placeboes can bring relief and whatever it takes to get you feeling better is O.K. with me. But for new guys, I would really like to see the science, not just the testimonies. Yes, bigred3, I remember when mangosteen was the acai berry of its day.

One scientific study showed “the average antioxidant capacity [of acai juice] was ranked lower than that of pomegranate juice, Concord grape juice, blueberry juice, and red wine. The average was roughly equivalent to that of black cherry or cranberry juice” I think I’ll take my antioxidants as red wine!
