We've been told by the tourney director that there were 4 other teams that were going to be in our division. Just wondering who they will be.

Smith Laminating a 50M team will be there,as will our Jim & Joe's 60M. I would like to see this Tourney do good because of time of year and its close for us. What about the teams from Indy & KC ?

Mario, I just now saw the brackets for the St. Louis tournament. Did your OKI team drop out at the last minute?

Norm ased Jimmy if he still wanted to go, they would have put us in with the Major division teams, but he did not want to do that.

Mario I just talked to Norm and he confirmed it. The teams that were entered as major plus got reclassified to major 3 weeks ago. Oh well, gotta wait 7 weeks until Vegas.

FYI - 50 Calibur, Springfield Wingstop, and Smith Laminating have never been rated major plus. Coors light was rerated to major on 02/17/11 and the KC Barons were rerated to major on 07/25/11.

Brett in that case I stand corrected. Thank you for the info. That being said I did call the tournament director right after we played SPA and he did tell me there were 4 major plus teams entered and that we would be the fifth. Perhaps he meant major or didn't realize they were only major teams. Either way I'm bummed we're not going.

Mario unless something unforseen comes up I'm sure we'll all be chomping at the bit come Vegas. Hopefully Carl will be ready to go by then.

Here is another example of a team, OKI, that has played those teams many times in the past that are now moved down to Major for some reason and they don't get to go to a tournament they wanted to participate in. Again, there are not enough teams at the Major-plus level to make it worth while! COMBINE MAJOR AND MAJOR-PLUS!

Jawood that's a good case to combine major and major plus. I'd be good with combining the divisions and splitting the difference with the home runs with 1 up and a single after.

I agree, we should combine the 2 and make the HR's 7 and 1 up and singles afterward.
