That's a decent representation for 60M. Looking forward to playing against all of you.

When discussing HR rules – I notice a significant difference in HR’s in teams that play 50/55 vs. 60+. The difference is even more noticeable at 65+. One shoe does not fit all.

Discussion: Batters Box

I like my pitches high, up around the chest so I can lift the ball or go off-field so standing further up in the box makes that easier to do. I find when I move back in the box I am taking lower pitches which usually result in line-drives which is not what most pitchers want especially if the pitch is low and a little outside.

Just a guess but I think if a league went to unlimited arc that some Associations that did not would see a significant increase in team participation while the one with unlimited arc would see team participation dwindle.

Want to improve Huntsman? Adopt a proper rating system for teams and players. To much sandbagging. This will be my 15th year playing there and the sandbagging has gotten worse each year.

The Demo I tried in Mesquite last year had real nice pop. Might look to pick one up as well.

Ed played with our 60 Club in Huntsman Worlds last year. For anyone needing a good ball player and equally good person, you want him on your club.

Hockey players used to say the same about helmets. Today all wear helmets and have no problem with it even though a lot complained at first. It seems like a logical rule given our age & the speed of the ball back up the middle.

Do away with the front of the batters box or change the dimensions. To many batters called out for striding forward. The dimensions work for a strike zone but using the mat reduces the stride forward area by about a foot.

Discussion: SSUSA AND SPA MEETINGS

I had the opportunity to hit the TPS Hyper Z in Nevada and put about 70 hits on it. I thought it had terrific "pop" as good or better then anything I have ever swung but it broke in about 70 hits. I am a fan of the U-TRIP Z2000 and think TPS is on to something if they can find a little more durability.

Also had the opportunity to Hit Ed Andrews new Barrage and GSC he was showing around. The Barrage for me was to light at 26oz so I could not give a good opinion but the GSC at 27oz felt pretty good and had good pop.

The 60 Major teams at the Worlds where all very good and fairly evenly matched. Top Gun kicked us really hard otherwise all our games were close. Glad to hear Top Guns man will be OK.

We have played in a lot of 60M tournaments this year and have yet to see any team max out on HR`s in fact no team has been close to that number. If a team hits more than 6 in a game they should be outs and not walks and they should also be playing M+ ...IMOP

Nothing wrong with the ROCK. We hit it all weekend in Vegas and had no performance issues. The ball hit well all weekend and was no more difficult to field than the normal SSUSA ball. Pitchers commented that it was a little more difficult to grip & control. Overall we liked it!

The ROCK ball they used in the Worlds in Vegas last year hit very well in the heat and was fine fielding. I would take it anytime.

Steven, you bring up a great point about the ball and how heat affects it. There has to be better options. I have heard fielders complain about the ROCK but not hitters :)
