Sup Paul.......played both 55 and 60 last yr.....The 55's still want me to play with them, so it looks like they'll be my primary team and Ralph is putting me on his roster for weekends that don't conflict. Ralph and Rabbit from the old Indiana Classics are putting together a pretty nice squad of 60's. Now we have the Brickyard Classics 60's. Heard you guys picked up my buddy Rod Huey...helluva hitter......guess we'll face off again this year.....cya in Indy

If the ball was tipped before going out of play or being lodged in the fence, depending on where the runners were at the time of the tip they would get 1 plus one. Since the runner at third scoring is a no brainer. Where was the batter when the ball was tipped? If still heading to first he gets second. If he had already past first at the time of the tip he gets third. That would be my NSA call but, I could be wrong.

Two of my best gloves have Corky etched on them. Being left handed and finding it hard to find a good glove, He sold me the first one for $40 in Ala. at a national and the second a nice Miken. He just gave it to me in Lansing last year. Great Guy.........It's how I got the nickname since the guys pickin up my glove from the dugout see it etched there. Good Luck Corky. That Freak + players model is starting to get pretty hot as well thanks Corky.

Just my observation BUT: Even if you caught and batted a buck 30 for a major plus team (that was short players one weekend) your basically stuck.

We that are synics, follow the money trail..........Old days"Red dots" and heavy aluminum....Today "Gold Dots" and composites.
Bats are more expensive than balls. Money says, let's sell expensive non warranty bats and "Socks" for balls.....Would like to see a study done with those bat/ball combos and see what the difference would be???

Just my opinion but the Baden ball seems to be the best in all temps. Would like SSUSA to at least consider them.

Discussion: Irony and inequity of ratings

Hmmm.....In 08 after winning the winners bracket late Saturday night at the ISA Worlds, weather canceled the remainer of the tournament. We were awarded the championship and immediately got re-rated to Major??? Was then forced to take our lumps for a minimum of 3 tournaments with at least 6 teams in our division to even be considered for a re-rating.

Discussion: Played but not rated

A bunch of local softball fanatics decided to throw together a few of their buddies across several age groups and divisions and attend the SPA Winter Nationals in Pensacola........We attended under the name "Antique Roadshow". That was the only tournament we played and thus were never rated.......We would like to use the name, and since we were in the lower division, wondered if we could return as AA???
