Dec. 19, 2006 batter4u	Topic: Bats Discussion: Rip-It(black), Senior, ASA Bat Hey, just took some hits with my 28oz rip it. swings good, balls come off it good . sounds alot like the yellow bat when the balls comes off it, not broken in yet but was hitting some 280-290 off the tee. will know more after i hit some pitching, but so fo seems like a very good ASA bat
Sept. 14, 2006 batter4u	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Doctored Bat in Seattle? anyone that needs to use an altered bat in a game when you can use the u-II defenatly has an ego probblem or is compensating for some other self defeciency... myself, i aways thought that a good rule would be that if you hit the ball up the midle a second time, you have to pitch the next inning. bet that would stop alot of the guys from going up the at the pitcher midle consistantly..... play on...
April 4, 2006 batter4u	Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Palm Springs Tourney we're playing in the palm springs tourney at the end of the month and I acknowledge and understand that A.S.A. bats are required, no problem however, I ve also heard that they are useing 40 /225 softballs and that last tourney not even the major + teams were getting them to the warning track. My question is , if this is so, what do they have aginst using a good ball??? just a simple question,,,, ,

Aug. 30, 2005 batter4u	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: how to win a ring this past weekend in Des Moines, the 60 AAA was won by a team out of seattle, although they played AAA, the team was composed of several player from Ruth Reality, a major team, when asked how they cold have a AAA team with half of the team playing coming from a major team, the tourment director said that Mr. Ruth and Mr.Hennesy,,,sorry about the spelling, had said it was ok for the team to play AAA although it had major players on it...

Nov. 5, 2004 batter4u	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: becoming a dinker well after years at the gym, working out and lots of batting practice, i finally decided that beings softball an't about being able to hit the ball hard and far, it s about making money,selling bats, keeping the balls in the park and keeping good balls and bats out of the game,,, so no more working out and batting practice, i m just going to sit on the couch , drink beer, get fat and dink the damm ball over the pitcher,,,,, mabye first base if they play in for me. heck, i might not live as long but then they dont have to worry about me loosing a good ball over the fence and costing them $5.00
Sept. 26, 2004 batter4u	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Overlap Grip i have been using the overlap grip for 2 years now,, i get more distance and it has helped me with my follow though as i release the bat with my right hand just after the bat makes contact with the ball. it has added a good 10-15 ft to my long drives and the bat seems to get thought the strike zone alot faster,althought i have been know to hit the ball as high as far if i miss it
