Discussion: Spa Ratings compared to SSUSA ratings

Joe
ridge and other directors will look at new teams and teams that has several roster changes, other than that the teams that wins will be moved up. the are teams that Terry, Ridge and RB all look at and share information on teams in there tourney that does not play in that respected tourney. So they can have the teams rating in case they attend thier world or national tournaments. Maybe this helps just a little

look at SPA rules they are walks and 9 runs per inning a little more like softball. It is bad when you only make 7 outs in a game and 3 of them are in the 7 inning (bad timing) and lose the game.

We hit it over on field one at lunch all of us where MAJOR OR MAJOR + players out of 4 rounds of 15 pitches there where only 3 hrs hit out tere where 4 of us that hit the 52/275 ball, like you said there was not any cheap homeruns one of us had an older PST (red& black) it hit the ball the best of any of the bats we had on the field

If you look at the total picture Major only hits 4 than 1 up. If you are AAA and you hit more than 3 maybe that team should play major and will not have to worry about hitting one for an out. I was a UIC in Dalton last year and watched a game that a team from NY hit 12 in one game and the other team hit only 2 Like you I am only telling what I was in several games and I believe the teams that hit more than 3 should play up and see if they can than if they can not appeal keep there stats and go back down and adjust there game to the rules that the groups enforce upon them

Discussion: TEAM RATINGS FROM SPA

Joe
Ridge said they would keep tab on the teams that are moved up in the SSUSA but only when they are playing in SPA tourney, He also said that he, RB and Terry will share information on all teams as they are rated. Ridge said he want a true rating system and he and his directors are going to work overtime in make sure that they are rated in the right division. he was looking at newly form teams and teams that has alot of player movement. All of teams will start in SPA where they finished last year and he had 3 dates of team rating changes last one in Aug for AA and AAA, one of the other was in June before the National tournament. It was a 4 long days of discussions about everything in the rule book. Hope this is helpful

Discussion: TEAM RATINGS FROM SPA

SPA said they will not followed SSUSA lead and move up teams at will. There will used the rating system as they have always have and only move up teams that have won a National or world tournament or have a new team that did not play last year. They are hoping new teams send in their roster in so the process may start by checking names in their data base for their team rating.
I believe this is fair for all the teams We are sending ours in this week because we have 4 roster changes from last years team Hope everyone gets on the same page See all of you soon
