June 30, 2011 big cat7	Topic: Bats Discussion: reebok melee I have a 29 ounce end load reebok melee and have only used it a couple of times,i cant really complain about it because i havent used it enough but i have a few questions.First when i really hit it on the screws it sounds like glass breaking now ive heard thats a good thing is it or isnt it? And secondly i use the overlapping grip and it has only happened with this bat and now it has happened twice but when i hit it solid for some reason the area between my right thumb and index finger gets pinched. Ive taken the grip off and checked to see if maybe the handle was broken but its not. Has this happened to anyone else?
June 28, 2011 big cat7	Topic: Bats Discussion: another one bites the dust Well just had another MIKEN MAXLOAD ULTRA break on me.This one lasted all of 35 swings and just in games no batting practice.I love playing the game but its getting expensive having to buy two or three bats a year.Has anyone ever had any luck returning an ultra?

June 15, 2011 big cat7	Topic: Bats Discussion: hitting Thanks i understand that you have to focus more.Actually what i wanted to say was that im right handed and stand in the front of the box and pretty close to the plate so these guys were throwing right at me and the ball was breaking to the plate. i was having a hard time deciding whether to swing or not and i wanted some input on what guys did to help them hit these curves
June 15, 2011 big cat7	Topic: Bats Discussion: hitting thanks for the imput vinny and i did hit it i believe i was 17 -20 with 12 homers so i wasnt asking because i cant hit it i just had to move around in the box and couldnt stand where i normally do and my question was to find out what others did to hit it
June 15, 2011 big cat7	Topic: Bats Discussion: hitting I played in a tournament this past weekend and it was the first time that ive played usssa rules in twenty years , i noticed alot of pitchers were throwing curve balls and i was having my problems with them.what are some of the things that hitters do to help hit the curve in softball. im right handed
May 26, 2011 big cat7	Topic: Bats Discussion: Aluminum I think senior leagues should go to utrip rules all the way around.If you use utrip bats and decent balls people that can hit them will still be able to hit them.Also with the lower arc hitters can control where the ball is going better when they swing rather than fighting off some twenty foot high pitch and smashing one back up the middle.I think the utrip bats and maybe a 44/375 ball would be great.

May 11, 2011 big cat7	Topic: Bats Discussion: hitting flaw Thanks for the comments webbie,but how do you know that i have such a great swing?Ive been watching alot of videos on you tube and i may have come across something. I remembered a tip from mike macenko about if youre hitting alot of grounders bring your elbows in closer together and i realized that unknowingly my right elbow had gotten very high and separated from my body.On all the videos i watched all the good hitters had that right elbow tucked in close to the body.As soon as i can get out im going to try that and see if it works.
May 10, 2011 big cat7	Topic: Bats Discussion: hitting flaw After an amazing year last year ive had problems this year with my swing.Ive always hit alot of home runs and never had a problem getting the ball in the air.However this year i seem to be hitting down on everything and even though im hitting it hard for basehits, i cant seem to get anything into the air.My question is has anyone else had this problem and what did they do to cure it
April 22, 2011 big cat7	Topic: Bats Discussion: SENIOR REEBOK I dont know maybe i havent given my melee enough time to break in yet,it just seemed like it was going to break everytime i hit with it but that could be because the walls are so thin .The vibrations were really bad when i made contact. Im not going to give up on it yet because it does feel good as far as just swinging and handling it.

April 14, 2011 big cat7	Topic: Bats Discussion: SENIOR REEBOK I have a 29oz end load senior melee and i wanted to know if anyone else has had the same problem.Ive only swung it a dozen or so times but it just doesnt seem to have any pop whatsoever and almost feels like its breaking in my hands when i swing. Ive checked and there arent any cracks or anything in it.

Sept. 28, 2010 big cat7	Topic: Bats Discussion: bats Istarted using a senior maceko combat recently and had been using a ultra 2 maxload 30 oz.the macenko is a 28 oz.Im not getting the distance out of the macanko that i got out of the ultra,maybe its not broke in enough im not sure.Anyways i would like to know if anyone has any feedback on this
