Feb. 11 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | My favorite Team name I was involved with was "No Guts, No Glory", started by a fat man whose mantra was that anyone in shape could play softball but if you had a belly and could still play, then you were really good. |

Feb. 11 #6 Men's 60 1173 posts | Way back when,I had a team called the "AUSTIN MERCHANTS".For you guys looking for a sponsor.We called ourselves the Austin Merchants and ALL of the players would go out to places they used.Bars,Resturants,car dealers,beer companies,etc,..We would tell them if they would give us $?$,we would put their name on our shirt.All the players would have a different sponsors name on their shirt,and we raised several thousand dollars for out team as well.WORKED GREAT FOR US ! |

One year our women's team was named Stiff Competition. We thought it was a good name since we were very competitive and didn't associate it initially with some of the comments you guys verbally threw at us. The following year year it was changed to a very plain 'The Ladies'. |
