You are new to this board. Those results you won't see for days or even weeks. I do know due to a text from a buddy the Rio Grande 50's won the 50AAA.

AAA 60's Aro was 3rd, Bay Supporter and Tanel played the title game. Bay will have to double dip Tanel to win.

Ruth Realty won the 60 Major and Omen won the 65 Major Plus. Ruth put on a gut-check Sunday, playing 4 games in a row and winning 3 with several players hobbling or suffering from the heat.

Scrap Iron Master Collision won 60 major plus, Minnesota Prize won the 65 major, Scrap Iron Phiten won 65 AAA, Nor Cal Reds won 55 major.

On behalf of the City of Aurora, CO and the Scrap Iron Club, I personally want to thank all of the 89 teams for participating. We had 30 + teams more than SS USA expected. Feedback I received at the park from a number of teams was that the fields were great, the weather very tolerable, centrally located and hopes that the Western Nationals will be held in Aurora at these fields again next year. Even though there were water fountains outside the dugouts, most still want water IN the dugouts.

Again, we appreciate your support. Most areas of the western United States were adequately represented which makes the case for having this tournament in a central location.

Greg Broeckelman, SI Master Collision 60s and past president of the SI Club.

JCI Jones Chemicals/ The "Y" Sports Bar went undefeated in 55AAA. We had some great competition but it must have just been our weekend. The fields and umps were great and it was a well run tourney for the most part.
I also met Ed Endrews the Reebok bat rep. Great guy and he is not a pushy sales rep. If you wanted a bat he said he had them available but he did it with class. Got to respect that.
Thank You:

Nice work James sorry we won't be there for your return performance in the East/West game in Vegas. Turns out Majors is a little more competitive than we thought. We will be in Vegas but paying our dues I guess. We haven't seemed to have adjusted yet to the Majors. But when we do watch out. LOL Good job this past weekend wish we were going to play you guys again. See you in Vegas....

Hi paul0784:

We had a good weekend and should be in good shape for Vegas. we need to stay healthy now and be ready for Vegas.
What is the biggest differance between AAA and Major? You guys played so well last year it looked to me like you could compete in the upper division. We added defense, speed and power this year trying to get where you did last year.

Thank You:

James

Somewhere along the way we forgot how to hit. We have been averaging 10-12 runs a game and you can't win with that. We played a 50 Major team in PA and won 32-30 and 31-10 so we haven't forgot just don't seem to be as consistent this year. We will be out in Vegas and maybe we can find our bats again. Again congrats on your win and I believe you've got NY Motion for the East/West game this year in the AAA. Good Luck and hope to see you there?

James, It was good to meet you and play ball against you in 55AAA. You have an outstanding team and I expect you guys could win in Vegas. We played short of a full squad and our 2nd baseman was hurt in the first game so it further hurt us.

Wishing you guys all the luck going forward. Stay in touch.
