I agree with JC24, moving the WORLDS somewhere in the Midwest makes more sense than moving it even farther away, just to satisfy the west coast teams. A central location would make it more cost efficient and would draw more teams ,that could likely drive instead of having to pay airfare to fly across the country.Convenience would make it fair for everyone.

Can someone explain a little more about the "Bands" that will be visable whe breaking in? Where on the bat would these be found ? When these are visable , how much more life could be expected out of the bat or does this have any effect at all ?

Discussion: RAINOUT IN ISA NATIONALS IN BRIDGETON MO

This was a WORLD Tournament,,The directer of this tournament should have been prepared and had a back up plan and a ground crew (which he didn't have) for any rain delay,We all have been around long enough to know when fields are playable and when they aren't, and don't need to be told by someone who lives in Calif, if the fields in St Louis were playable and what to expect. Those fields were solid and only needed the water pushed off and they would have been dry in an hour.

We were scheduled for the first game on our field at 9:00am Sun. and we never played, also, on Sat the fields were prepped in the morning and were never drug again all day,so you can imagine the shape the infields were in by late afternoon and evening. This was the second year in a row for these field conditions, so keep this in mind come your tournament selections for next year.

Discussion: R-eclassifications for 2008

I thought I read somewhere that there were no more re-classifations after the end of June. Does anyone know if this is true or when the last one would be for 2008?

Seems to me that if the team coming out of the losers bracket is the automatic "visitor," and would win that first game, they would deserve the right to be "home" team in the "if " game. Why even flip a coin?

This question is more for Terry Hennesey, Why is a tournament that can use a roster for "NEXT" year included in the TOC when some of the player's haven't been eligible to play for the entire season and won't even 50 til the folling season?

I'm not being foolish, I think ASA is bieng foolish, and anyone who agree's with them. If you think a Freak 98 will pass the 94 MPH testing after broke in ,you are wrong..With the new testing ,there will not be any decent bat's to swing, so you might as well buy them at WalMart, and I do not work at WalMart and am not endorsing them, just a place to buy a $30.00 bat that will pass testing.
