Discussion: Recent bat poll

I know on spa's survey they asked which bat out of the 4 or 5 did I like the best. We all know 45% of the players polled don't have a red & black miken. I still see moere black mikens than any other senior bats

I had problems with simvastatin stomach cramps, weak and dizzy. Went to pravastatin and know side effects. Hitting for distance again. Everybody is different.

I think if the ump would tell the teams to get the rabbit ready. For it looks like every other hitter needs a runner. That would speed the game up.

Looks like I'll be a tired puppy running the bases next year.
I don't think they would go with the 6 hr's and it would be great if they would go to 3hrs and a walk after 3.

Discussion: Warm-Up Tourney in Birmingham, Alabama

Love this tourney. The ball seems to fly well. Good ball happy happy player. I hope that my team goes to Southpaw Steve's tourney. Plan on running some this winter. I haven't ran well in a while for my achilles heel have been bothering me for years. Worked construction all my life and the ladder didn't help my achilles at all. Baught me some great running shoes and they seem to help. Hope to see you in March Steve.

Discussion: Impact Players List

I know of some impact players that just sit the bench bat .800 because they just run to first base and back to the dugout. If you would take the rabbit out of the picture how many true impact players would you have on the list. Just running to first and not getting a double or a triple don't make an impact player in my eyes. When half the team runs for the other half of the team and the ones that don't run the entire tourney get the all tourney. Just my opinion.

Discussion: Warning on quality of Combat Bats

I have a few combat senior bats. My centerarian hits as well as the other senior combats that I have. You just have to give most of the Senior bats a break in period. I baught a combat ambush for $125 from my buddy on the team that I was playing with. The bat was only a week old and the guy he baught it from didn't like the way it swang. The ambush hits great now it's broken in. Some bats take a little longer to break in than others. Best thing to do is try someone else's senior bat before you buy one. No two bats are the same and some take longer than others to break in.

Discussion: Tournament in Panama City, October 19-21

36 It took around 330 swings a bp to get mine hitting like my other senior bats. Now I believe it took 330 hits because my ball were soft not hard and I am getting a little older. My 27fl is game ready. At the moment it is equal to my other senior bats. Saying that I do think it hits real hard line drives and will hit over a 300 foot fence. 36 you just might have a bad bat if your ambush is not webbing. Mine has 2 different type of webbings.

The Ambush 27fl that I have doesn't swing like any combat in my bag and I have them all. That's just me and my swing. I think it's a little different.

My 27oz endloaded is game ready after about 250 swings. I used balls we use in tourney play so it took a little longer than using a better ball. Mine hits great line drives and to me it does have a back sweet spot. Now just waiting for Dalton.
