Feb. 10 softball4b Men's 70 1250 posts | Your thoughts? 55's - West Coast Bias Major Plus - MTC Major - Doubleplay AAA- Fountain Valley Outlaws |
Feb. 10 EMJ 10 posts | I agree on the 60 AAA Fountain Valley Outlaws, they are loaded!!! |
Feb. 10 Olden Slow Men's 75 209 posts | FV Outlaws are a great bunch of guys...Have played them a few times...But they also have the best cheering section I have seen.. |
Feb. 10 olie04 Men's 50 48 posts | 50 Major+ in no particular order: Demolition Arizona Elite ENR Northwest Legends GSC = Gods Sports Company I think these teams will be elite teams. Now if I have left someone off, let the games begin. Hope everyone has a great successful year. |
Feb. 10 swing for the fences Men's 50 1224 posts | did summerville retire? |
Feb. 11 softball4b Men's 70 1250 posts | It is my understanding that Summy is no longer sponsoring a 50 Major + team. This has alway been a close bunch of friends / players and some decided to move up to the next level and others to retire. I am not sure how many but some moved to the Demolition team which won in Menifee. |
Feb. 11 Elecio 7 posts | Good to see the FV Outlaws getting the Love and Respect they deserve from the Senior Board. During the Re-Ratings they were the one team I was surprised that didn't get moved up. FV Outlaws have been the dominate 60AAA team in the Western States for the past several seasons. Great Bunch of guys and even better support group. A team that will make a run for the TOC this year. |
Feb. 11 JamesLG 421 posts | Who do you guys pick in 60's M+ Thanks: James |
Feb. 11 cal50 Men's 50 328 posts | softball4b, what is the next level for them to move up to? |
Feb. 11 softball4b Men's 70 1250 posts | Well unless a new age Ponce de León is on this team, some are moving on to the 55's. |
Feb. 11 softball4b Men's 70 1250 posts | 60 Major+ Hollis is the dominate force in this division and are the ones to beat. We look forward to the challenge. Mike Adair Joe Brown's AllStars |

Feb. 14 canIjack Men's 60 322 posts | southernson I have no idea. But you got my attention, Who and what team is he on. It's not Richard Pryor, he dead. Whom ever the Man is,he has got to be 70+ I would think. Crump; make sure it’s a 2x. I'm losing weight and I'm into spandexs lol. Bye the way, are you bring both 50s and 60s Teams to the BASA. |
Feb. 14 softball4b Men's 70 1250 posts | Kennard when you can wear spandex, I will break out mine. I don't think that is a sight anyone wants to see. You playing 3rd this weekend...;-) Can't wait for Hemet. |
Feb. 14 canIjack Men's 60 322 posts | Mike I am playing, 3rd probably so, since Alvin Tate won't be there. This will be my 1st Tourney this year, ever since you hit that seed at me and my hand will never be the same, I really don't like playing Hemet during the Winter months but it should be in the upper 70s this weekend. Remember, it was 8 in the morning and it was 34 degrees outside and you hit a 1 hopper. I was deep at third, I caught the ball(no feeling) then this PAIN shoots thru my left hand and I can't even throw the ball, hell I couldn't even hold on to the ball in my other hand because the pain was that bad. ............But I too can't wait. Love playing against You, but I rather play with you. See ya this Saturday Mike. How is Nolan doing? Tell him I ask about him. Love that kid. |
Feb. 14 softball4b Men's 70 1250 posts | Its all good Big Boy. You remember that one I remember the one you picked and threw me out by 3 steps...being generous....I also remember you hitting 3 bombs against us in Vegas...Let the good times roll....80 degrees this weekend in Hemet. |
Feb. 14 crump22 Men's 50 60 posts | Easy E, whats up man? I left those jerseys at the Hilton front desk in St. Louis lol, i got you and Underwood if we bring a 50 team, we are going to St. Louis and play usssa 55 the week before,i will let you know asap |
Feb. 14 crump22 Men's 50 60 posts | canijack, i will keep that 3x just in case you might need it lol, 60 team is going , working on the 50 team |
Feb. 14 Easy E Men's 60 46 posts | Crupp22 you know that both me and Underwood are over 55, but we can't play 60 yet. |
Feb. 14 Webbie25 Men's 70 2414 posts | Mike-you EVER show up in spandex and I think my eyes will burn in fire. Ugh! But then again, spandex doesn't expand THAT much, does it? CanIjack-Kennard-looking forward to that beer-lets really do it this time!! |
Feb. 14 VINNY LV Men's 50 178 posts | LVSSA 55AAA.... JUST SAYN !!!!!! |
Feb. 15 BMC13 Men's 55 45 posts | Crump22.....do you still have my jersey??? Who is back with Linedrive?? Thanks! Baer |
Feb. 15 southernson 280 posts | canljack, Bingo Long and the Travelling All-Stars.....was made partially in Macon, Ga. One of the Florida Classics (50+) players, Joe Hicks, was in the movie, he lived in Macon at the time and played catcher in the movie along side Richard Pryor, Billy Dee, James Earl Jones, and more. And who played "Rainbow"? Otis Day, of Otis Day & the Knights....yes, Animal House, that Otis Day... Have a good Friday.... |
Feb. 15 canIjack Men's 60 322 posts | southernson, He also played in the movie "Car Wash". So that’s Joe Hicks? Webbie, are you coming to Hemet? If so I'll make sure I bring the Beer. Mike, it will be fun, looking forward to tomorrow. D&K will be playing with heavy hearts this weekend... Memory of Sal Silva.. Kennard |
Feb. 15 Webbie25 Men's 70 2414 posts | Yes Kennard-we play you Saturday. See you then. |
Feb. 15 Tim Millette 615 posts | Webbie......I guess I am the only guy on this board "blessed" to have seen Mike struting around the softball complex in his spandex. If I remember correctly....Lord knows I have been trying to forget it for 33+ years. They were shorts with a onesy style tank top in......wait.....wait....LEOPARD PRINT. I don't know if Mike has done like many of us and "put on a few" Since 1991 but...if he has....I am sure that "outfit" would look more like a onesy tank top with a gee string bottom if he put them on now...... It hurts my eyes just thinking about it!!! |
Feb. 16 tg69 393 posts | How about the one in the other dugout. |
Feb. 16 birdie Men's 70 802 posts | tg69, What a great statement. It one short sentence that does a very good job of stating who is the team to beat. I wish that I would have thought of it. Thanks Harry |
Feb. 19 Wayne 37 Men's 65 773 posts | One of my rec league teams, Dawgs, is the team to beat. If you're jonesing for a win, we're the team to play...........teehee. |
Feb. 19 Webbie25 Men's 70 2414 posts | Tim-just back from hurling lunch from the visual you just provided. Thanks a heap! LOL |
