San Jose, CA - The Vintage Softball Club of Santa Clara will host its annual, one-pitch softball tournament on Saturday, August 3 at Moffett Field in Mountain View. The tournament is open to men and women, 50 years of age or older.

The Vintage Softball Club was started in 1987 as a fun and competitive league with games held on most days of the week.

This year’s tournament will host 12 teams.  Participation is available for individuals or complete teams.

The fee for individuals is $20 and $150 for a full team.

Individuals and teams do not need to be residents of Santa Clara County to play. Individuals who sign up will be assigned to a team by the organizers.

Lunch will be provided to all players as part of their registration. 

Each game will be 40 minutes in duration and will be played at Moffett Field in Mt. View.

Though there will be 10 players on the field, the batting team will pitch to themselves. The batter will only get one pitch and if the batted ball is not a base hit, the batter is out. All other softball rules apply.

Teams are guaranteed two games.

Games start at 8:30 am. This is a one-day tournament.
