Teams are not officially entered until payment is received.

Refund policy: Entry Fees are non-refundable after the deadline. Full refunds are given to teams withdrawing BEFORE the deadline. NO refunds are given after the deadline.

Tournament Format

Note: SSWC reserves the right to combine divisions of three or fewer teams within one age level and/or skill level.

This is a "Ring Option" Tournament.

Five games minimum scheduled, with Round Robin into Double Elimination or Three-Game-Guarantee brackets.

Fort Myers is ‘The City of Palms’

FORT MYERS, FLA. – Senior softball players will be thinking that 13 is their lucky number when they come here to compete in the 13th annual 2013 Winter Nationals.

It is a must-go tournament for teams on the East Coast looking for large divisions with top-notch competition. The Winter Nationals is one of the largest senior softball tournaments east of the Mississippi River – and one of the best-known events.

The tournament will be held Nov. 5 through Nov. 10 and winning teams qualify for the 2015 Tournament of Champions in Polk County, Fla.

This tournament has so much going for it: good weather, great fields, beautiful beaches – and lots of teams to play. It’s the “can’t miss” tournament of the year.

“This is such a great site for senior softball,” says Terry Hennessy, chief executive officer of SSUSA. “Think about it. If you’re a team playing in the cold Northeast, Midwest of Northwest, your season likely is over in November. But you can come here for a first-class tournament and even pick up a suntan,” he adds.

The popularity of the tournament means that it is now played at three cities: Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Naples.

Jeff Mielke, executive director of the Lee County Sports Authority in Fort Myers, says that his group is “honored to once again host the Senior Softball-USA Winter Nationals. “SSUSA is one of the best organizations we partner with, and their tournament is one of our most prestigious annual events. Their staff is professional, classy, and fun to be around.”
