bottom line is that pitchers need to be able to pitch from 53' and further, as well as being in a good defensive position before the ball reaches the hitter's bat.
Anyone else is playing "roulette".
Simple, eh? Yeah, as long as you don't have to consistently throw strikes. Take it from a pitcher who had a finger nail ripped of his glove hand (with the glove on), as well as being hit 16 times from the thighs down.

Hey guys,
I would appreciate your wisdom;
If I'm understanding this correctly,SSUSA is allowing ANY bat, while the SPA allows all but the U2, the Synergy and the Genesis (SB103, I assume?). I understand they must meet the 1.20 bpf. That means that all other Mikens are OK? Also, does the ban also include the newer Synergy models, or just the original?
Appreciate your input!

Texas T: I'm right with ya there.
But if you're like me, I get ecstatic when I can line one that gets by the outfielders. Not as pretty as the brute "over the wall ball", but commendable just the same!

Thanks for the info Nancy. Very interesting. I'm just going down to visit relatives for a few weeks, but eventually plan to relocate around Dunedin.
