Yes...unless locally restricted. I have the Fossil and the ASA Blackwidow. I like the Blackwidow better than the Fossil - it seems feel better and has pop - Tuna!

I also use them on my bats. One thing they do for me is eliminate the knob from digging into my palm and giving me blisters during BP. I agree it fills in the void creating a natural grip - BigTuna!

The Legit is the best balanced of the the three bats and also has better pop out of the wrapper than the Wanted. The Fossil hands down out performs the Legit out of the wrapper. One thing I can say about my Legit is it has over 800 cuts and has no signs of stress what so ever.

We have BP tomorrow morning (Sat) at Alga Norte in Carlsbad, so I hope to get the Fossil and Wanted up to the 100 cut mark and report back.

Ok - I'll start with answering your questions. Hi Taits...we play at 9:30 Tuesday and Thursday mornings at Stagecoach in Carlsbad with 6 teams in our league. Come join us sometime!

LB16...here's what I do have right now (as far as senior bats):
Worth Legit 2 piece X2
DeMarini One balanced
DeMarini One endload
Easton BSR X3
Combat Wanted 2 piece
Monsta Fossil 2 piece

So, today's 2 piece comparisons of the Monsta Fossil vs Combat Wanted (both right out the wrappers.)

The Fossil: Wow! This bat has scary exit speed and it appears the walls are opened up right out of the wrapper. It does very well on mis-hits too...a badly mis-hit fly ball light high carried to the fence. The Fossil appears to be a balanced to Midload bat and easy to handle.

The Wanted: While it is not as hot out of the wrapper, the Wanted has all of the pop you can ask for and being somewhat a balanced bat was very easy to hit to all fields. The Wanted is a keeper and can't wait until it opens up.

Conclusion - if you're looking for an immediate high performance gamer the Fossil would be my choice over the Wanted. Both bats are very easy to handle, solid feeling and tons of pop!

Tomorrow I'll be swinging my new bats...Monsta Fossil and Combat Wanted. The bats are 2 piece models and both 26oz. The ball of choice will be the Rock soft cover 44/375 we use in Carlsbad. I will post my thoughts and comparisons tomorrow - Big Tuna!
