| Feb. 7, 2017 cody19073 | Topic: Teams looking for players Discussion: Kansas City area 70+ AAA team looking for additional players 70s AAA Colorado Scrap Iron player whose team has been relegated to AA seeking a new team. Other 70s Scrap Iron rosters are filled and our team looks like it will be folding. Member of 2010 World Championship team and can play infield and outfield. Was a .700 hitter with power before age began to diminish skills. Still an above average player who doesn't need a runner. It looks like the 70s Force will not be fielding a team this year and am looking to travel again. Been hurt the last few years (shoulders) but played pain free last year and was able to throw and hit again. Played last year at lower levels (D1) because of shoulders, but played on Saturday league the 2nd half and did quite well. Have played all positions except pitcher. Hans Benes h_benes@aol.com |
