| Dec. 13, 2017 JohnD | Topic: Teams looking for players Discussion: New 50s AAA team based in Durham area, NC Starting a new 50s team for 2018. Looking for committed players. Positions needed primarily are 2B, SS, 3B and OF. We have 1B, pitcher and a couple OF positions covered. Could move the existing pitcher to another position, if we get someone else solid. We are looking to put together a quality team. Want to have fun but, winning is important. The team will be sponsored for tournament fees and shirts/hats. The player is responsible for all travel related expenses. Planning on playing about 10 tournaments. My team just won the SSAA world. I pitch, play 1B and could play OF if needed although its been a few years. I can still run decent. I live in Raleigh area. |
| Sept. 6, 2017 JohnD | Topic: Teams looking for players Discussion: NC New Startup Team 2017-18 I'm looking for an over 50 team for myself and perhaps one or two more guys. We have played many years and recently won the SSAA World (Premier Softball) but, would like to start playing over 50. I'm 56 and have pitched and played 1B for the last several years but, could play OF on an over 50 team if needed, the other 2 guys are infielders (2B & 1B). Two of us live in the Durham area. The other is in the Charlotte area. Travel isn't an issue for any of us. Thanks, John |
