I did have some of our staff remove her from umpiring and did apologies for not being able to park myself their to observed throughout the day. Having 5 fields spread out as they were allow me to put some miles on at the end of the day. Hope to see you at our 2nd leg June 11th at Krieg fields.. Take care Dawg !!!

Discussion: We still Play

Hats off for the Love of the game. I left my orthopedic one of our Softball Magazines that had the issue of playing until the age of 80's. Now my question to him is, can he keep me on field until then. This is after having 4 other orthopedics suggesting that I find another sport. As I told them I'll find another orthopedic before quitting SOFTBALL.
Which I did and he said keeping me on the field and off the recliner should not be a problem. So to those who play the older division you will always remain my hero's :)
EVERY DAY ON THE FIELD IS A GIFT FROM GOD !!! HAVE A HAPPY HOLIDAY AND A MERRY CHRISTMAS.. SEE YA IN 2016 :)

Young Man there are several great teams in AZ. go to the rating section 1st then under 40 division you can see what division you have interest in playing in. Then research the programs, they just might be in need a player or two. Good Luck

Discussion: texas state championships

Krieg fields here in Austin would be a great place for this up coming State Championship. We host the Shoot-Out at Krieg and the question continues to come up why doesn't SSUSA, or SPA ever host a tournament here at Krieg. Our tournament that we had this past June 13th filled up 5 fields with 5 different division and all we heard was SSUSA needs to host their qualifiers here at Krieg. Austin is a central location for all of the in state teams. Austin also has all the perks that come with it for everyone to enjoy. And when players enjoy playing at this location why not give them what they paid for decent fields ...

Discussion: Why only one Rec. tourney.

All Recreational tournaments have been denied listing unless you use SSUSA insurance. It is always about the $$$$. Here's their respond !!!

Unfortunately we cannot publish and promote recreational tournaments on our website where we do not hold the insurance for the field and the tournament. If we promote or post a tournament on our website and something happens at that tournament, we can be held liable because the case can be made that since we promoted the tournament we are responsible for what happens during the duration of the tournament. We had to change our policy regarding what we post on our webpage due to this. If you did want to obtain insurance through us for your recreation tournaments, we would happily provide that for you. The cost for insuring a recreation tournament is $20 per team for that specific tournament. Sorry again for the bad news but if you do want to have your tournament(s) listed on our website we have to be the one insuring the tournament(s).
