Stallion, go to the SASSL senior league website for info on league play and 60 tournaments that maybe looking for new players. There are two or three real quality 60 teams in town, not our biggest division due to lack of players in the age bracket here in town. SASSL.org, look under schedule tab for and check upper division Saturday for managers names.

Firestick, the problem is they can't catch in the air so who knows were it is going to bounce after hitting or not hitting the mat. Not like the old days were you wanted to hit the glove, now you are at the mercy of the ground which is in who knows what shape. This is a product of the senior game and in most cases not the catcher fault.

Hat Man, I think you will find out the majority of over 60 players are with OZ40 and will vote to keep the 0-0 count. Glad you like it but most of us don't. Better pitching is the key to everything, throw first pitch strike and everyone is swinging not wanting to be down 0-2.

Crusher, if you vote 0-0 no other questions and it doesn't take vote, so I'm guessing you voted for 1-1??

Discussion: WHAT IS WRONG WITH SENIOR BALL!!!!

Wow, would have loved a 8 AM start, we started on Friday in Georgetown Heart of Texas tournament at 6:30 AM, playing three in a row, our fault for losing one game of a best of 3. Hard to get started at the time much less play but it is what it is and same for both teams, actually 6 teams had to do the same thing.
