Discussion: Looking to join 55 team in Indiana

Thank you Staff. I plan on being down at Midwest around noon and hopefully can find a 55 team either short handed for this tournament or who is playing a schedule simular to my current Blue Grass schedule so I can play both age groups this year.

Is it possible to add players to the roster the day of the tournament? I will be down at the Brickyard just in case a 55 team is short.

Thanks for the kind words, we played well in Columbus. I put a post up earlier in the week seeing if anyone needed a player for this weekend since I'm only an hour or so away but I don't know if you can add this close to the tourney. I was thinking of driving down on Saturday but have a lot of yard/garage work that needs done.

I am located in the Kokomo IN. area. My current 50's team (Blue Grass Softball, 50 AAA) is playing about 8-9 tournaments this year, all south of me. Since I am also eligible to play the 55 bracket (DOB Sept 60) I was wondering if a 55 team was looking to add a player. I can play 1st, catch or DH. Can hit for power or average, which ever you need. I also know of a guy in my area who can still run the outfield and is looking to try senior ball If interested contact me here or for faster response email me directly at southerinman@gmail.com.

Discussion: Last minute Brickyard players

I am located in the Kokomo IN. area only an hour or so from the Midwest park. My current 50's team (Blue Grass Softball) isn't playing the Brickyard this year. Since I am also eligible to play the 55 bracket (DOB Sept 60) I was wondering if anyone was looking for a last minute fill in. I can play 1st, catch or DH. Can hit for power or average, which ever you need. I would also be open to play other tournaments in the 55 bracket this year. I also know of a guy who can still run the outfield who might be available. If interested contact me here or for faster response email me directly at southerinman@gmail.com. Hopefully this is allowed in this topic although I am also posting it in "Players Looking"

Cop298 I am also looking to join either a 50 or a 55 team this year after playing for "Windy City Thunder" the past couple of years. What's the deal with both prime and Big 10. We played them last year and I thought they were both solid teams. I answered a post just the other day and got a responce from Mark at Big 10.

I am looking to join either a 50 AAA, 50 major or any 55 team. I will turn 55 in Sept. I was playing last year for "Windy City Thunder" which was classified as both a 50AAA at the start of the year but got moved up to Major later. I played mostly as a DH and catcher. I am just under 6ft, weight about 230, with red hair I wear back in a tail. My name is John but they have always called me "Opie" around the ball fields. If your interested in discussing the possibility of me joining your team please email me here or at Southerinman@gmail for faster response.

Tri18 You state "the new handle fusion makes all the difference in the world in this bat" Can you elaborate more? Have them controlled handle flex better or eliminated it?

Discussion: New 52/275 balls

As a senior player still playing in local leagues I though I'd try and take advantage of the experience on here and the vast amount of games your all playing. I wondered if anyone has found a bat that hits the new 52 core balls well. I have hit these balls out with both my old psycho flex and an NSA miken 700 but neither of these bats are good for next year so I'm looking for input on something new.

Does anyone have contact information for the photgraphers that were at this tournament? I bought one of their packages and after getting it home to show the grand kids 2 of them decide them both wanted the small action shot. End result they both ended up with part of the picture. Trying to contact them to see if they can email me another that I can print out on my own.

My name is John Sutherin but I am known around the ball parks as Opie. Will turn 50 in Sept and looking for a team playing some tournaments. Located out of Kokomo and playing in 4 regular men's leagues (Kokomo, Peru, Logansport, Frankfort) already but wanting to get established in senior league ball as well. I know Indy has senior leagues but I was told they play on Tues and Thurs and already booked those nights. I currently play 1st or 2nd and can still hit with some power. If someone is willing to take a look, please contact me at "southerinman@aol.com" and we will see what we can set up. Thank You JOHN
