Discussion: Slideing at the HOME PLATE
Man we were in a close game on Sunday, there was a play at home. of course the play was going to be close, but the throw was off, the catcher had to run wide left to get the ball , on the way back the runner saw it was going to be a close play and slid knocking my catcher feet from under him. Tournament Director and umpire call the man safe, my catcher have cracked ribs. I may be wrong, but the RULE STATE YOU CAN NOT SLIDE AT HOME PLATE! They didn't call the player out and the run counted... That sucks, if you make a rule, then follow it!!
