Massachusetts team (Hannington's Bay State Bombers)is looking for 60M outfielder for about 5 Major tournaments in 2016. With the new Geographical rules for Mass this year we are now treated like a New York team. Anyone interested please email me at paul0784@aol.com.

Discussion: Playing with Total Shoulder Replacement

I was wondering if anyone out there is playing with a Total Reverse Shoulder Replacement and if they had any suggestions? How is it going, is there any limitation to it, and experiencing any pain? I hear that the Reverse Shoulder limits your playing, just looking for first hand experiences? Thanks for the help.

thats great for you guys. Whatever tournament we go to we have to get on a plane and hotel and there is extensive money spent for each tournament. It probably costs each one of my players between $500-$600 per weekend so multiply that times 4 or 5 tournaments it gets expensive to go 2 and Q according to someone on this thread. That is where we are coming from.

5 game minimum makes it somewhat feasible to go tournaments and anything less is not worth it and would not draw a very big crowd?

Any time you add 5 Major+ players to a Major roster that team should be told they have to play Major+ in the tourney by Sacramento? Sacramento correct me if I am wrong?

Going to take a shot at this one. Timeout had been called so he should have been able to go back to the bag with no out recorded? Why would he be called out maybe he fixed a shoe? LOL

Wouldn't this have been safe to have all runners run the bases till the umpire said stop?

B.J.-ASA Rules are not the same as SSUSA. Just take a look at the international tie breaker and ASA says the man starting at second base can be anyone and SSUSA says it has to be the last batter "NO QUESTIONS".

Webbie, how would you like to play in the Northeast where there are a total of less than 20 teams of all age brackets playing tournaments. There is maybe one team in the M+ bracket in the whole Northeast. So, even playing M is a disadvantage here because trying to field a team of say 60 year olds is even a problem. We just got moved up to 60M after the greatest weekend we had finishing second at the Worlds and now are having trouble finding 60 year old guys to fill in the spots vacated by some of our teammates. Due to injury and just age have stopped playing. We just don't have the inventory of players that other areas of the country have at their disposal. We have never shied away from playing anyone at any level but if you can't compete you can't compete. Good luck this year on the field and hope your health issues are behind you.

Discussion: SPA v SSUSA

How about the rule that a Major team can have up to 3 Major+ players on their roster. Teams in the Northeast area MASS, NY, RI, NH, and ME are at a disadvantage because there aren't many Major+ teams in this area that are active if any at all. So when the teams try to play Major in the rest of the country they have trouble competing. When you look at the total number of teams playing tournaments in this area could be a total of maybe 17-20 teams in all age brackets in the whole Northeast area. Whereas on the West Coast and some other areas there are probably 17-20 teams in each age bracket? So, is that the same playing field?
