I want to thank everyone at the Woodlawn Park in St. Petersburg for the Monday,Wednesday and Friday pick-up ball who made me feel welcome.I was very impressed with the older seniors who still play and enjoy ball.They showed me that I still have a future in playing as long as I stay healthy.
Special thanks to Dave(Pops44) with the Woodlawn Hitting Club who made me part of the hitting club from day one.I hope that I can continue to hit like the rest of the seniors when I reach there ages.Now I can brag that I hit with the best seniors ever.With Dave's encouragement and pitching I was finally able to hit one out on the last day.Memories will last forever and if I can convince the wife and find another decent place by the beach I'll be back hopefully next year.
