Nov. 25, 2015 RoosterBL Men's 55 1 posts | True AAA rules applied at Worlds Home run rule for 50AAA is 3 and dead ball out after, however this was not the case in Vegas at Lorenzi park. This was a clear advantage to the borderline on the cusp of Major teams and an extreme disadvantage to the more true AAA teams. I do not understand why it was not an umpire judgement on balls that hit the 20' extended net above the standard height fence. I watched games at the field of dreams and it was the umpire judgment there which it should be. It is understandable that questionable (on the Cusp) teams will slip through the cracks as it is virtually impossible to police all teams 100%. I believe it to be a travesty to then extend another advantage by calling a 20' tall net fence a live ball. 2 years in a row our team was knocked out Saturday evening by teams that hit double digit balls off the net, we are a defensive built team and that situation is not defensible. Just does not seem to be a true and fair AAA event. Can we please change this so all teams playing AAA are competing on a fair and equal playing field. |
Dec. 17, 2015 Pgh Yinzer Men's 60 27 posts | Lorenzi Park does not have a yellow line on fences thus the rule for that park is you have to hit the ball over netting to be a HR.. Doesn't make sense but it is what it is.. |
