Willie Bourda Served 20+ years in the United States Army with tours in South Vietnam, Germany, Fort Benjamin Harrison,Indiana and Fort McPherson,Georgia. Willie played many Years on the ALL-ARMY Softball team. After a few years of playing, he started coaching the ALL-ARMY team, and being quite successful at the ARMED FORCES Tournament...winning Gold or Silver in the many years. After that stint,he started coaching the Women All-Army Softball Team, where they dominated the game for many years both at the Inter-service meet (US ARMY...US AIR FORCE..US NAVY..and the US MARINES CORP)and the ARMED FORCES NATIONALS Team. He played it hard..with dignity..and respect. A Discipline ballplayer and Soldier. The game will miss his input, but we will miss his Teaching. His parting will leave a Void...so fill it with Remembered Joy.
