SENIOR RULES VS "REGULAR RULES"
I have only played one season of senior ball but it only took one game for me to fall in love with it. I just pitched 5 games in an NSA rules tournament this past weekend. If I had hair i would have been pulling it out by the end of the last game. Why doesnt all softball use a strike mat? Does it make the strike zone too clear? Why cant i stand a few feet behind the rubber when pitching? LOL Does it make me to hard to hit at? Why cant i have 12 feet arc? THe kiddies cant hit it?1-1 count with NO courtesy foul? no run limit per inning? THe sandbaggers love that.Equalizer? lol Whats that? We swing better bats. We hit better balls although NSA is giving the option of hitting a 44-400 this year. There are other examples but my point is the senior game is a great game.Other associations should take note. OLDER GUYS RULE!
