Umps too old, not getting out there on plays, being in the wrong position to make calls, terrible flat and high calls all weekend, can’t keep the score, and generally were just horrible. I could elaborate with 5000 more words, but suffice it to say they really stunk this time. Worst I’ve ever encountered.

Drawing an arbitrary batters box and then forcing players to stay in it while batting is crazy. If the rule is you must have some portion of your feet in the box, that means toes count. Not to these umps and if you wiped the line at all you were ejected! Unreal.

There must be some sort of standard or proficiency level for the umps. The Bullhead batch for the 50’s should not even be doing t-ball games. Bad show all around.
