| Oct. 27 rdfox1 Men's 60 7 posts | I’m 63 years old, been pitching on an open team (young, 18 thru about 35, except me). Never have used any protection. Is the use of these mandatory or voluntary in the senior ages? Thanks. |

Also, §6.18 describes recommended, but not required, additional gear a pitcher may wish to consider ... In tournament play, we do not allow pitching screens ... However, many local leagues that play under SSUSA rules have a local rule provision permitting, or mandating, those screens ... That is the sole purview of the local league's directors ...
