Jan. 20 rwells1500 Men's 50 25 posts | The Feb 28th, 6th Annual HOUSTON "Spring Classic" Tournament at Bayland Park is still taking team signup. Remember to mark Feb 28th on your tournament lists for the traditional ‘Houston Spring Classic’ senior softball tournament. We changed the tournament name from 'Early Bird' to 'Spring Classic' to match our 'Fall Classic' tournament, but the place and people are the same. Over the last 6 years it has become a Texas tradition to gather at Houston's Bayland Park for the HCSSL's Annual spring tournament. A fun, preseason practice tournament designed to start off your teams new season right. Concessions run by ladies auxiliary providing home made goodies, flame grilled sausages, hotdogs and refreshments. This is a very well run tournament, in a great facility with a very convenient location. Centrally located in Southwest Houston’s Bayland Park located just off U.S. 59 and Hillcroft. Teams range from AA to MajorPlus. Four games for $150 plus $10 per game umpire fee, new 44x375 Trump balls every game. Winner of each category will receive a maximum of 15 Tournament Jerseys plus 1 MVP. 50 minute game, finish inning then play one more. Beginning batters count of 0 & 0 with no courtesy foul. We will go to 2 days if necessary. See the ‘TOURNAMENTS’ page on our web site: WWW.HCSSL.ORG * Please do not confuse this with the Feb 21 tournament at Passadena Tx which is now full.
