Oct. 30 Paco13 424 posts | EINSTEIN Please get Ur own Assoc. Your ideas are going to destroy Senior Softball. We need to get to a more balance field in which all aspects of the game are utilized and not just steroid taking players hitting 400+ Hrs...that is not the majority...plenty of love left... |
Oct. 30 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | r Good balls and bats are fundamental to our game. Marketeers and TD's have formed a powerful alliance and want to take the level of our game far below what is acceptable fun if/as we do nothing. They call us cheaters. Say our game is too dangerous. Say scoring lots of runs isn't fun. It's all BS and designed to change our game to where they will maximize their profits and eliminate their competition. Killing the messenger, Paco, won't change a thing but embolden the powerful few to roll us over and drive us home. |
Oct. 30 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | r Paco. I don't need my own association. There's LVSSA and NorCal where we play the game the way we want to and deserve to and the most of us have the most fun and the players' interests are prominent. I'm sorry you feel there's no alternative to what they're trying to do to us because there is. |
Oct. 30 Dirty Men's 50 1371 posts | r Paco, if they were taking steriods, or in gump's case even touching a weight in a gym, they wouldn't need to bats and balls he begs for. He won't ruin the game, no one is paying any attention to him. Well, they are but mainly to mock him and certainly not taking his whining seriously. You have to feel bad for such an insecure old guy like that. And I hear he has ability, but just can't leave well enough alone. The Senior tournament game has flaws, but the inability for insecure guys to hit homers using other's technology is not one of them. |
Oct. 30 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | r Have you guys noticed that it's the guys who don't play senior ball or don't attend national tournaments who have the most to say about how we're supposed to play our game? As Bob Dylan once said, "You don't have to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows." Long live LVSSA. |
