| Sept. 17, 2010 Dam 2 posts | 50AA or AAA player looking for a team I am 52 and have been playing in upper leagues and tournement teams for 30+years in the Oxnard, Ca. area. The team I played with the last two years disbanded (R&R Pumping The Other Team) I was a starting outfielder with above average skills, above average arm and a solid bat with power. Did not play this year due to work load. Looking to play with a tournement team, will travel for tournements and work my way on if needed. Thanks, Dave 805-984-0105 |
| Sept. 26, 2010 Uncle Mike Men's 60 122 posts | Hi Dave, This is Mike, Georgie and I run the Oxnard Rookies 50AA team. Our Phoenix roster is already set ( we could only carry 5 R&Rers from AAA )Steve Glenn and I were the last 2. George, Joe, and Jaime are the others. We had already wanted to pick you up for next year ( we think we are going to get moved up again). You could start working out for the Las Vegas Tourney in Nov.if you want to go, this team is being run a lot smoother than R&R ( Georgie is the sponser and I am the manager ) Come on out to the Senior League on Tuesday Nights, we play on Lou's Team. This coming week Beck Park 7:45 PM. We picked up Alex Padilla, Andy Mendoza, Larry Lopez, Doug Hamlet, Rockey Colburn, Freddie Macias, Vic Borjas, Rollo Romero, etal.. for this year. Next year we have Kerri Cleric and Kiko Saragosa already signed up and playing on Tuesdays. |
| Sept. 26, 2010 Uncle Mike Men's 60 122 posts | We are ordering more team shirts ( if you can't make to Tuesday game call me and give me a number for your shirts ), hats, etc.. this Tuesday night, and the wives / girlfriends are ordering womans shirts , blouses, tank tops, etc.. as well. I am assuming you want to play with us, we have 6 outfielders now- we share innings !!! |
