Aug. 25, 2011 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | Inquisition It was chopped by SSUSA but what I said was I know what being an independent thinker/infidel must have been like during the Spanish inquisition and what it was like to be a freedom loving soul-defending Scotsman in front of a purification judge in Braveheart. Do you Renounce Satan? Do you realize you have been treasonous to your king? I don't think they wanted my response to close to their proclaimation. What we have and witnessing is the king and his lords trotting out a show of power and responsiblity using infidelity and treason to push their own agenda. They could have always chose to settle this conflict and similar ones but they CHOSE not to. There's no comparison between Gary C and me. Not in character, identity, contribution or intention. I was only and always trying to defend. While he was only and always trying to destroy. Check the record if you care. Interestingly, as Scotty pointed out Robert of Dogsley has been left out. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. What's he/they into or up to. Beware the magic money ball that alone can save us all can have powerful influence over a deserving but faithless public. The truth will set us free. |

Aug. 25, 2011 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | Sometimes, Mark, you can't pick your fights. They pick you and you get to defend yourself or walk away. |
Aug. 25, 2011 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | And some good will come of it all, I'm sure. |
Aug. 25, 2011 Capt Kirk 541 posts | Like Peter Pan Though they chronologically grow older, they have not grown up. Like Peter Pan they break societal norms to serve their own purposes and dont care much for the feelings and rights of others. They want all the power but are not willing to share the responsibilities, not ready to sacrifice and reject moral structures which are part of mature adulthood. |
Aug. 25, 2011 Pricer Men's 50 621 posts | Joe, sometimes you need to turn the other cheek. I'm sure Gary is just as passionate about our sport as anyone who post here. We all have different ways of debating those differences. This is a great venue and they have their rules to abide by. They are not open for debate. If we don't care for them, I'm sure they won't mind if we move down the road to another one. It's like golfing; you have to play the course. We can't change the cup position because we don't like where it's placed. JMO |

Aug. 25, 2011 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | There's nothing healthy or good about being well adjusted to a sick or unfair society. |
Aug. 25, 2011 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | His posts, Jeff are too antagonize and disrespect. Just check them out. There's no comparison between us and SSUSA has been aware of this for quite some time. |
Aug. 25, 2011 Capt Kirk 541 posts | It looks like we need to add a 5th Inquisition (NOT THE 5TH DIMENSION-Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In): Historians distinguish four different manifestations of the Inquisition: 1.the Medieval Inquisition (123116th century) 2.the Spanish Inquisition (14781834) 3.the Portuguese Inquisition (15361821) 4.the Roman Inquisition (1542 c. 1860 5.Senior Softball Inquisition (2011-?) |

Aug. 25, 2011 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | You're being used as a tool by the reigning court to gain control over me/us but it will never happen. I never swore allegiance to this king. Of course I'm going to lose in this mountebank court. But it doesn't matter. It's the fight and truth that count. And good will come of it. |

Aug. 25, 2011 obagain Men's 50 72 posts | So you tell the guys to do their job and then when they do you go into a rant comparing yourself to people who gave their lives to make their country great. Can you say God complex? |
Aug. 25, 2011 Webbie25 Men's 70 2391 posts | So, let me guess, Einstein-you are going to bring a poisoned Ultra 2 to the fray!! To joust at 5 feet with the enemies perceived and real? Hark, methinks thou hast sworn allegiance to the Monarch of the SSUSA and their minions, the message board controllers, by partaking forsooth in the witty riposte demanded by posts of your honored adversarial opponents concerning the vast distances and incredible speed that must be attained hither by softballs in the Senior game. Thou must beatest down all opposition. Then, and only then, will truth, justice and the American way be served!! (oops, sorry, Superman) |

Aug. 25, 2011 E4/E6 Men's 70 873 posts | Let me try this again with a toned down language. After reading all this BS, I have come to the conclusion that one or both must have been denied their mothers milk as babies. Why else could someone be so angry all the time? |
Aug. 25, 2011 gary c 418 posts | nobody is angry but I know who my mother is. how about you? Mothers are out of bounds you started it |
Aug. 25, 2011 Webbie25 Men's 70 2391 posts | Einstein-I was thinking the mountebank court of Hamlet (poisoned sword), but I looked it up and realized that you were referring to charlatans running the court of opinion. I thought it wasn't quite right. |
Aug. 26, 2011 einstein Men's 50 3112 posts | Mountebank is a great word and concept, Mark and fit's a character like Gary C, perfectly. This guy is WAY over the line and has always been over the line and is being used by the site and it's administrators to execute their agenda regarding me. They just think we'd never get it but in fact we do. I do speak for the majority of players on many issues because we have no voice or union and it's easy for others to get us wrong or figure they can roll over or through us but in fact, they can't and never will. I learned from the great men of NCSSA Gary Tryhorn, Noel Lanctot, Pete A'vignon, Bob Strand, Bob Fernandez, John Reedy and many others that a true "non profit" players association can get us right and support us as we want and deserve. And I expect that caliber of treatment and support from any association that curries our favor and support. Rumors of my/our (community of players) demise have been greatly exaggerated. |
