"It is all on-the Inaugural FSSA Softball Carnival is to be held in Rotorua, New Zealand between 19th March and 28th March, 2007.

Featuring Fastpitch and Slowpitch sections for players over the age of 35, the FSSA Softball Carnival has been designed to create great competition, good fun and the chance to play against teams from various parts of the world.

Mixed in with the Softball Competitions will be the chance to mix and mingle with like minded Ball Players from new and interesting teams, to enjoy the hospitality of local Softball Clubs and Players, to experience the fascination of New Zealand's thermal wonderland and to have a drink or two at the many bars and restaurants that Rotorua offers.

Join Softballers-Slow and Fastpitch, players, umpires and supporters in Celebrating al that is good about Softball and Softball People".

Rules:
The emphasis at the Rotorua Carnival will be on enjoyment on and off the field. Teams will graded into sections depending on age, ability, fitness and competitive requirements.

Slowpitch teams can be club and league teams through to family, work, pub, friends and social teams. Men's, women's and co-ed teams are welcomed. Part teams, groups or individuals are able to be linked with similar groups to ensure that they can all enjoy the first World Vintage Softball Carnival. Umpire and supporters will be welcome to come and enjoy the fun.

FSSA Slowpitch provides the chance for teams, players and umpires to enjoy games against teams from all over the world. FSSA Slowpitch is a truly international movement with tours planned to be staged at some great softball destinations.

At the heart of FSSA Slowpitch is a dedicated team of committed softball and Slowpitch people who have as their objective, the planning and organizing events designed for maximum enjoyment and participation of all mature softballers and Slowpitch players and supporters.

FSSA Softball Offers So Much More.
FSSA Softball consists of teams and individuals who share a love of Slowpitch. Many wish to play new teams on new diamonds and at new destinations. The rules and spirit of FSSA Slowpitch offers the opportunity to share the fun of the game with teams from all parts of the world.
