MIDWEST CHAMPIONSHIPS ATTRACT 46 SENIOR TEAMS TO ROGERS!

TBA

The Midwest Championships makes its first appearance in Rogers, Arkansas, after previously being held in Shawnee, Kansas, the past 6 years. More than 45 teams will be competing in this year’s event from 9 different states including Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and, of course, Arkansas.

The Midwest Championships will be played from July 12-17 at the Rogers Regional Sports Park. Teams are competing for a prized berth to the Tournament of Champions in Florida – the gem of Senior Softball.

Men’s teams are playing in divisions ranging from age 50 through the 75 year-old elder statesmen of the sport.

“We are looking forward to kicking off the 11th Annual Midwest Championships at the state-of-the-art Rogers Regional Sports Park with some of the top teams from 9 states throughout the Region,” said Terry Hennessy SSUSA chief executive officer.

We would like to extend a special thanks to Kelly Parker and the Visit Rogers/Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce for bringing the Midwest Championships to Rogers.

Economically, the 900 senior athletes and their families playing in the Midwest Championships will infuse more than $1.3 million into the Rogers area.
