Over 190 Teams Compete in the 18th Annual Winter World Championships

PHOENIX, Ariz. – The 18th Annual Winter World Championships began here on Tuesday, Nov. 13 with the Men’s 65 through 85 age divisions in action.
Bill Ruth, SSUSA President and manager of W.E. Ruth Realty, was officially inducted into the National Senior Softball Hall of Fame (NSSHOF) in the Manager Category, on Wednesday, Nov, 14 at Rose Mofford Softball Complex.

Sharon Friendly, Ms. Senior Arizona USA, and Linda Albright, Ms. Senior Washington State USA, sang the National Anthem and God Bless America during the ceremony.

The second session (Nov. 16-18) will also feature a NSSHOF ceremony, as Angie Ayala will be inducted in the Woman Player Category, on Saturday, Nov. 17. The ceremony will take place at Mountain Vista Park.
