Summit Raises 1st, 2nd Place Teams to Next Level for 2004

March 1, 2004 – Senior Softball-USA

These teams won first place or second place (in divisions of 4 or more teams) in one of the nine National Senior Softball National or World Championships and are being raised up one skill level for 2004.

Teams may appeal their ratings after playing in at least three national qualifiers or tournaments to the National Ratings Committee. Teams should refer to the Summit Website (www.softballrating.com) for instructions or call 916-326-5303 for the appeal forms. Appeals will not be decided and Preliminary Ratings will not be changed until June 15, when the first set of Final Ratings will be posted on www.softballrating.com.

Ratings will be adjusted as necessary from June 15 until the end of the 2004 season by the Ratings Committee.

According to the 2003 Summit Agreement, the Ratings Committee will approve Major-Plus Rosters.
