SPORT RULES

metal cleats in a game will be ejected from the game, and if on base, a
"dead ball out" will be called. If there are less than three outs, any
players on base must return to the base occupied at the time the ejected
player came to bat.
Players and substitutes: Senior Softball USA rules for re-entry and extra
player (EP) will apply. Extra players may play defense at any time.
10 defensive players shall constitute a team in the Men's 50-plus bracket.
11 defensive players constitute a team for 50-plus Women, 60-plus Women,
and 60-plus Men. A team must have a minimum of 10 (9,50-plus) players at
the beginning and ending of a game. For any team playing with 10 (9,
50-plus) players, an out will be recorded when the tenth position in the
batting order appears.
Line Up Cards: Official line up cards must be presented to the opposing

up cards will be furnished to all team managers.
Mercy Rule: A 15-run mercy rule will be in effect after five innings

inches. A legal pitch not swung at that strikes any part of the strike
zone mat or home plate shall be called a strike by the umpire.
Time Limit: The length of game will be seven innings or one hour and
fifteen minutes (1:15). Tie games after seven innings or at the end of

The Men's divisions will play 12-inch slow pitch. The Woman's divisions
will play 11-inch slow pitch.
