Maryland League Up to 63 Teams, 8 Divisions

ROCKVILLE, Maryland - Senior softball has shot up to 63 teams and 8 leagues in Montgomery County for the 2000 season.More than 40 players registered for the Super Senior League for men over 70 and women over 60, according to the Montgomery County Senior Sports Association. The new league allows 12 defensive players and mandates that all players bat.
