NorCal Association Partners With SSUSA

Senior Softball-USA (SSUSA) and the Northern California Senior Softball Association (NCSSA) announced a partnership that opens the door for teams to register in SSUSA and play in both associations.

With 110 teams, NCSSA is the second largest regional senior softball organization in America. The largest is the Florida Half Century Club, which has about 160 teams.

NCSSA also will be adopting SSUSA rules and will carry SSUSA insurance. SSUSA will supply insurance for many NCSSA tournaments.

“This partnership will help the tournament directors, as well as all of the teams,” said Fran Dowell, SSUSA executive director. “All the tournament directors have to do is call and give us the address of the park they are using – and they are ready to go.”

“It’s easy for the teams, as well,” said Dowell. “They register one time with SSUSA and they are good to play in NCSSA and SSUSA.”
