Vancouver (WA) Metro Senior Softball Association Results

The Vancouver Metro Senior Softball Association just completed their 15th season. The recreational league is for players 60 and older, with each team selected by a committee.

This past season there were eight teams with 126 players participating. The players are from Southwest Washington and the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area. The season extends 17 weeks from May through August. Each team plays one doubleheader per week for a total of 34 games.

The league is an all volunteer operation including managers and umpires. The league is insured by SSUSA and SSUSA rules are used for league play. The league champion this season was team #7, sponsored by Pro Calibur Sports. The team is managed by Earl Small and Dan Billedeaux.
