LVSSA SUSPENDS TWO MINNESOTA TEAMS

The Las Vegas Senior Softball Association has suspended two Minnesota teams for adding Major-Plus players to their AAA rosters and competing in the 2009 World Masters Tournament.The Ancell 50 AAA and 55 AAA teams were both sent letters announcing their suspension for two years for adding ineligible players.
In addition, LVSSA banned one of the players involved for life. Dan Krtnick, who was currently serving a 5- year suspension for playing while underage, was one of the Major-Plus players competing on the team.
Three players on the Ancell 55 team were suspended from LVSSA activities for five years: David Mattson, Steve Pease and David Slack.
