BERNIE WHITE APPOINTED PENNSYLVANIA STATE DIRECTOR

STROUDSBURG, PA – Senior Softball USA’s East region has been split into the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions with Steve Simmons named the Northeast regional manager and Michael Boone named the Mid-Atlantic regional manager.Boone’s first move was to recommend Bernie White for the position of SSUSA Clubs & Leagues Pennsylvania state director. White is a veteran ASA softball director who has spent years in the game in various roles. His nomination has now been approved by the SSUSA’s executive staff.
“I have promoted the game for over 38 years as a player, manager, coach, league officer, umpire county commissioner and appointed servant of various softball organizations,” White said. “My intentions were, are and will be to enjoy competition, camaraderie and fulfill my desire to continue to promote this fine game so all may enjoy what I have all these years.”
White plans to spread the word throughout Pennsylvania regarding the products and services the SSUSA has to offer to senior softball clubs and leagues.
