DC Hall of Fame Inducts ISSA Chief R.B. Thomas

RB Thomas, executive director of ISSA, was inducted into the Washington DC Metropolitan Slow Pitch Softball Hall of Fame in January.

Thomas, inducted for special service, has played in 35 national tournaments, winning 11 national titles with the Thomas Engineering team. Thomas, who is currently president of the National Senior Softball Hall of Fame, has sponsored scores of teams, with 17 of them winning national titles.

In addition, Thomas was instrumental in raising funds and providing construction materials to build the Fairmont Park Softball Complex, which has since become one of the most popular tournament facilities in Northern Virginia.
