Senior softball officials said the sport made a Major League move in February, releasing the same credit card as the NFL, NHL and dozens of professional baseball teams, including the Yankees, Giants, Cubs and many others.

"The Senior Softball Credit Card is being offered by one of the largest banks in the United States: MBNA," said Bob Mitchell, president of Senior Softball-USA.

"This is the same card offered by most of the Major League Baseball teams, NBA teams, NHL teams and NFL teams," said Mitchell.

Senior Softball-USA officials said the free Senior Softball MasterCard offers:

-- Accepted at 13 million locations.

-- No annual fee.

-- Low 14.99 percent interest.

-- Up to $1 million in common carrier travel insurance.

-- ATM cash access at 450,000 locations.

-- Supplemental auto rental collision insurance.

-- Emergency cash.
