NORM BLACKWELL SR. INDUCTED INTO 7TH HOF

SACRAMENTO – Longtime standout ballplayer and manager Norm Blackwell Sr. has been inducted into his seventh Hall of Fame.

Blackwell, 77, was inducted into the Northern California Senior Softball Association Hall of Fame recently. Blackwell’s wide range of achievements on and off the field include Hall of Fame honors for LaSalle Baseball, Optimist, March of Dimes. The Observer Newspaper also recognized Blackwell – player and manager of the Sacramento Gold – with its highest award, the Medallion of Honor, for his work coaching youth baseball and helping to feed the needy.
