Discussion: idea to stop cheating on bats

the ultra is a shaved bat itself. it's illegal to use in other softball organizations (USSSA, ASA, etc.) with the stote softballs used in tournaments, a shaved bat really isn't going to help much. balls are too soft to have any major effect on the distance the ball travels. these balls have a plastic type cover and in the heat seam to wrap around the bat when hit.
