Discussion: Possible 2015 Sponsorship

I manage a 40+ Double A team that would love to be sponsored. We are based out of the Maryland and Northern Virginia area. We usually try to participate in 4-6 tournaments a year. 2 of the past 3 years we have won TOC and do well in all of the tournaments we enter.

This team has a history of togetherness thru very tough times. The coach that started this team 5 years ago (Lew Oppenheimer) passed away tragically at a tournament in Phoenix 3 years ago. We have stayed together. Some girls left thinking they were better without our core group but we stayed together and proved them wrong. We suffered a second team loss with a very loved person a year ago and have stayed together. As you can tell, we need to catch a break.

If you were to consider this for us, you would not be disappointed. This is a great group of women that has no drama. Many of us have played together for 15 or more years and that is a wonderful thing in the softball world.

Please email me at and we can talk more. Thanks

2013 TOC AA Champions are looking to add women to the roster. Must be MD, DC or VA residents so you are able to practice with us. Please contact me if you are interested in joining this winning team.

We are basically a new team starting from scratch with a lot of dedication. We need a few girls to add to our roster when we need subs for tournaments. Looking for ladies in the DC, VA and Maryland area only. If you are interested in full time play, that is an option as well.

Discussion: Sponsor looking to finance an "established" Men's club

Our 40 womens team, Lew's Crew fell on hard times in our second year when the coach, sponsor and friend...Lew Oppenheimer was killed crossing the street when we were in Phoenix at a tournament. The remaining players have found it very hard to hold the team together and this year actually lost 4 players to another team.

If anyone needs a little sponsorship money, it is us. We have managed to put a new roster of women together and have found a highly successful coach to take over where Lew left off.

Discussion: Looking for women for 40's team

We are looking to add a few women to our roster for 40's ball. Most tournaments are on the East Coast and we are looking for women that are serious about committing to a team. Currently we have 6 tournaments on the schedule for 2013 and would like a few more ladies to add to the roster. If you have any interest please email me at

I am looking for women over 40 to play in 6-8 tournaments a year. We have a core group of 7 and are looking to add reliable women to our roster. We play mainly on the East Coast with a trip West once or twice, maybe. We need to fill a variety of positions so please don't hesitate to respond.

Thanks, Leslie
