Oct. 22, 2014 rh25 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: 1-1 count? Playing Devil's advocate The main thing that slows games down is courtesy runners. If you really want to speed games up that is the first issue that should be looked at. I played on a team in the past that ran like crazy even for guys who didn't need it and seldom played a 7 inning game. |

Feb. 16, 2014 rh25 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Player classification I'm dealing with this issue on my team. We got a guy who played on a major team. He quit over lack of player time. Team never removed him from roster. Were moved up to major+. Now we are trying to get this headache resolved. Guy just wants to play ball on our AAA team. We have another guy who just filled in on a major team in SPA because team did not play SPA that year but played SSUSA as AAA & ISSA as AA. Now he's considered a major player. |

Jan. 28, 2014 rh25 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Bat Info needed Bruce, I'm guessing its because those bats were engineered for harder balls. I still use the connexion when its too cold to use the steel. The demarini steels are not very durable. |
Jan. 28, 2014 rh25 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Bat Info needed One of the leagues I play in is single wall. The demarini steel is the bat of choice. I still have two of the bats mentioned the green ritches & connexion. To my disappointment they did not hit as well as the demarini steel. |
Jan. 13, 2014 rh25 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Why are teams not rated the same in USSA SPA ISSA ISSA is the main assoc. in the mid-atlantic. This coming season it looks like there are less SPA & SSUSA tournaments than in past seasons in the mid-atlantic. It is almost across the board that teams are rated one class lower in that assoc. Our team is rated AA in ISSA and AAA in the other two. I've come across only one team Jersey Masters that is rated the same in all 3. I'd rather be AAA but then we'd be playing AAA teams that are majors in the other 2. We even played one team last season that was AA in ISSA but major in the other 2. They since been moved to AAA. |

Jan. 9, 2014 rh25 | Topic: Teams looking for players Discussion: Maryland 60's AAA team looking for players A number of our players decided to move up to 65's and start a new team. Therefore, we have a number of openings. Our team Longshots is self sponsored and based primarily out of Harford County. We plan on playing 6 to 7 tournaments mostly in the mid-atlantic area, with the season end tournament winter nationals in Ft. Myers-Cape Coral Florida.
